Founder and CEO Michael Edwards’ first Far Pavilions store opened its doors in 1995 in the Brisbane suburb of Paddington, with the aim of providing people with access to highly affordable, quality, exotic furnishings from around the world. It has become a market leader and is recognised as an innovator and style influence amongst discerning decorators.
We are proud to offer a complete value for money range of home furnishings and accessories from around the world, including a wide range of designs that are specially created and manufactured exclusively for Far Pavilions stores. Michael Edwards personally oversees all purchases, travelling to all corners of the globe to bring the world’s very best bargains and most enticing international treasures back to the Far Pavilions showrooms.
Since our humble beginnings more than a decade ago, we now employs close to 200 staff, with ten showrooms operating throughout South-East Queensland, as well as our own distribution centre in Brisbane. Our stores offer an exciting extensive range of furniture and complementary accessories for all aspects of contemporary home living.
